Description

WordPress Core is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘success_url’ and 'reject_url' parameters when requesting application passwords in versions between 5.6 and 6.3.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of pseudo protocol URIs. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link and accepting or rejecting the application password.
