Cellphone SMS delivery issues resolved

We had a handful of reports from customers who have enabled cellphone sign-in that their SMS’s weren’t getting delivered at all. It turns out that the cellphone “from” number we were assigned by our provider was blacklisted by a few networks. Apparently the previous owner had been naughty with that number and then lost it and it was assigned to us.

We requested a new source number and have verified that delivery works flawlessly. The area code you’ll be receiving your Cellphone Sign-in SMS’s from will be Connecticut instead of Seattle. Not that this affects functionality but it’s just more data you may find useful.

We’ve had confirmation from several users who had this issue that it’s now resolved.
