Wordfence 5.0.4 released! Now with (verified) HeartBleed detection.
A HUGE thank you to our team of beta testers. This is the first release we put through our improved release and beta process. We also dropped a little bomb on our beta testers last night by announcing the beta for 5.0.4 and telling them they had less than 24 hours to test it. This morning the beta section in our ticketing system was full of reports from the team.
We have included HeartBleed detection in this release and it has been verified by our testers on vulnerable sites and internally by us. So if your site is running SSL (meaning that if you access it using HTTPS:// in your URL) we will detect if you are vulnerable to this critical bug.
Wordfence 5.0.4 is now available in the repository, update immediately.
